Surprise Wedding

Lisa Carlyle, owner of Kuki Spa, held a suprise wedding for her parents on 6th August, 2011.  Lisa’s parents met at just 16 years old.  They had a horrendous wedding and Lisa’s Mum always felt she’d missed out.  So, unbeknown to Lisa’s parents, she’d arranged a suprise wedding at the Merchant Taylors Hall in york.  As her parents live in Spain, she told a little white lie that she was having a birthday party to get them to come to England and on the Wednesday night leading to the wedding, that’s when she told her parents they were getting married on Saturday. Thankfully they said yes.  With a black and white theme, the guests and venue looked amazing.  Lisa’s parents said ‘it was the best day of our lifes, we have the most wonderful daughter’.

Since then, the wedding their story has appeared in the Evening Press, the Local link and will soon be appearing in some well known magazines.  Congratulations Brian and Irma Carlyle.
